Josh Lipscomb
Student Pastor
A native of Gilmer, TX, holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from SAU. His ministry journey began by serving youth and college students at Immanuel Baptist Church in Magnolia. In 2023 he Married Charity and began serving as the Baptist Collegiate Ministry Director at SAU. Currently pursuing his MDiv in Church Health and Evangelism from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Josh now serves as the Student Pastor at CFBC. He aims to deepen his relationship with Jesus and share Him with others, guiding CFBC youth and families to grow in faith, engage in discipleship, and fulfill the Great Commission.
Sara Webb
Children’s Minister
Sara grew up in Russellville, Arkansas, graduating from high school and then from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She married her husband Greg and moved to Garland, Texas. After 11 years of teaching in the public school system, Sara accepted a position at her then-home church, First Baptist Garland, where she was the Curriculum Specialist and a Pre-Kindergarten teacher during which time she returned to school and graduated with a Master's Degree in Special Education from Texas A&M. Sara and her family returned to Arkansas in 2021, she is a homeschool mom and has been CFBC's Children's Minister since July 2023.
She feels most passionate about helping families and children know Jesus, learn what the Bible promises, and help families learn how to work together when special needs make life more challenging.
